Giving you the tools to change your life

Personal training is about learning to raise your standards: expecting more from yourself physically and mentally.

My name is Naim Kamili. Based in London, I’ve been a personal trainer for five years and on my own fitness journey for thirteen. To embark on your fitness journey is to know you are ready to invest in yourself. I’ve been there. I’ve learned to attack my goals with ferocity and drive, but also with the poise and discipline needed to succeed. I want to work with you to do the same.

How ready are you to achieve the changes you want to make? I want to change your perspective on fitness, and through this you will find self-belief – to empower you to make health and fitness a sustainable part of your life and ultimately achieve your goals. How willing are you to change?

My coaching method is based on three pillars – Mind. Fitness. Health.

Put your mind first and everything else follows. This is at the heart of what I do: the mind moves the rest.

Why should you work with me? I have a different level of commitment to seeing my clients change. It genuinely makes me happy. But first, you need to understand what is expected from you. I need you to be ready. Are you prepared to change your current reality?

Yes? Let’s start this journey together.

My personal journey

When I was around 14, a nurse told me I was almost overweight. All I heard was overweight and my ears were ringing. It was a kick up the bum.

I started to lose weight and was getting positive feedback. The problem was that I was doing it blindfolded. I was drinking huge mugs of green tea, sometimes making me sick, and I wasn’t eating enough. So, I unlearned what I knew. That was the real starting point of my mind, fitness and health journey.

Next step was university. I did four years at Nottingham Trent University studying Economics and Business Management. That’s where I found my love for consultancy. I enjoyed studying ‘the norm’ and trying to improve it. I’d find holes in an approach and improve it.

I was at a crossroads so I took a year out from uni. I knew I wanted to do something customer facing and I wanted to work for myself. So, I went through my mental archives - what had changed my life? Was it my fitness journey? It all clicked. I loved consultancy, and fitness had changed my life. Plus I didn’t like the idea of working in the financial sector: I wanted to help people with health, rather than money. And so my personal trainer journey began.

Fitness has evolved for me from when I was younger. Now it’s about conquering different fitness disciplines, such as martial arts. My skills have changed. When I was a teenager I couldn’t do a handstand, but I can now! I’m getting to know different things and I like to see other people grow and help them learn new things.

So, how can I help you?
